When does your visa expire?

Also, be sure to mention to CBP that you have been married more than two years.  Sometimes they or USCIS make mistakes.

CBP won't do anything.  My children and I came a day after my 2nd anniversary and inquired about change of status to IR with CBP.  The CBP officer told me all handled through USCIS and should trigger in the system automatically; they don't touch it, it's not their jurisdiction.

If the green card isn't statused correctly, you file an I-90.  2 out ot of 3 of the green cards came as 10 year, IR status but 1 was wrong.  It's since been fixed (mostly).  It was a PITA, but it's better than paying extra for ROC.

In the passport, on the page opposite of the visa, CBP places the endorsement stamp and hand-marks it as CR-1 or IR-1.  I have heard that CBP will endorse it as IR-1 if the date of entry is after the 2nd anniversary, but I have not seen it myself.  I would appreciate if any members here can verify or refute this.

Yes, the will and usually do, but what matters is the green card itself.  If they make a mistake, you can get it corrected.
