We are IR1. My husband just had an interview in Ankara turkey. We got administrative processing which was expected due to him being Syrian. We are not missing any documents. They told him to wait two weeks for instructions on how to send in his paperwork and passport. I just am at a loss. I guess we just wait??

Yes.  Administrative Processing can be neither expedited or waived.  Some cases and some countries experience extended AP for weeks a and months.  You just have to be patience a while longer.

being Syrian is not the reason. Trust me on that one. It feels like you're being targeted, but it's technically everyone.

Sorry for having to wait.

If you're waiting for further instructions he might be asked to fill out the DS 5535... (not a certainty but a possibility).

https://tr.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/91/DS-5535-Supplemental-Questions-For-Visa-Applicants.pdf

Added the form, in case you want to have a look at it and find the info in case your husband has to complete it...

People from predominately muslim countries/ countries with poor record keeping seem to be asked to fill this form out.

Have a search around the forums for some tips/ more info:
