Hey everyone!

Some background: My fiancé and I filed the I-129F and got NOA1 on late September 2021.

I'm going to visit him this coming Monday and will stay in the US for 11 days (traveling from London and going back to London).

I also purchased flight tickets for another week-long visit in December for Crishtmas (23/12-1/1).

Will 4 weeks between visits look suspicious in the eyes of the border agents? At first I thought that the fact that I bought another ticket for December would prove to the border agents that I had no intention of overstaying on my first visit - but now I'm not sure anymore.

We have no intention of sabotaging the K-1 process and we intend to wait for the visa legally.

I would appreciate any advice! You all probably identify with the anxiety and nervousness that accompanies this whole process.

Thanks!

For such short trips, i don't think it creates any doubts.

During your first visit, neither they would care about your future planned visits to the US nor the future tickets would prove you won't be overstaying. So that is pointless.

It should not be a problem.

If this makes you fell more comfortable though, you can prepare yourself in case you’d be required to proof that you have no intent to immigrate, by bringing proofs of your ties to your home country: current employment contract, proof of important/official appointment in your home country upon your return, utility bills, copy of bank account, and of course a return ticket etc…Anything showing that you must and/or intend to go back home.

They may not ask for anything at all, but if they do you are prepared and it will at least help you to not worry as much : )

Good luck!

During my K1 process I visited my US fiancé for two weeks in August, and then I returned a couple weeks later at the end of September and stayed an entire month! The US border agents just wanted to see that I had a return flight booked and asked if I was still employed in my home country (I was still employed and brought a letter from my job to verify).

It was super easy!

The very polite officer just asked me 4-5 questions. I said I'm visiting my fiancé, and she just made sure the date of my return and emphasized the fact that we are not allowed to get married during this short vacation (something we obviously did not plan to do).

Good luck!!!
