Is it possible they will accelerate after the student visas are over after Aug. 30th?  especially given how many conversions, skipped people, and IR5s they have cleared the last few months.  I know it's hard to wait but they've cleared a ton of immigrant cases these last few months, just not our type of cases.  So maybe they'll focus on CR-1/IR-1 this Fall and Winter?  The US Consulate Mumbai YouTube page has posted several videos about immigrant visa interviews recently.  Hoping that's a sign.

From latest information until August last interviews are scheduled.May be they are scheduling interviews for students visa these weeks;that's why they are not sending any ILs till now .

Well they did 300 IR1 in the month of May, so about 10 a day.

Even though they are focusing on student visa in September, NVC has more staff now and I heard that new staff were trained already. So there is some hope!!!

Maybe not til Aug. because the next interviews will be for Sept.  Sept. 2021 ILs went out on Aug. 11th, 2021.  So we'll probably know more in about a month.  I'm hoping after the student season is over they will speed up.

I think this week for sure.

 

they sent bunch of IL on 5/23/2022

and then 6/20/2022 which was 4 weeks letter.

 

so today is exactly 4 weeks.
