Hello,

I also recently applied my N400. Submitted it 9/13. All letters and receipt notice 9/13, and N400 Signature page also 9/13. All of sudden in the website changed the submission date to 9/12. Which will be one day before 90 days.

The ones who happened to them before, did it affect your application, or everything went smooth. I don't to wait for one year then re start everything.

By the way the submission date in the website was 9/13 for few weeks then all of sudden changed to 9/12. I live in the west coast.

Please help. Thx

what is your anniversary date? And what time exactly did you submit your application?

Also, if you happened to have an email receipt for your N-400 fee payment, what date do you see there?

12/12/18. 12/12/21.

9/13 2 am.

Payment Date: Sep 13, 2021

Transaction Date: Sep 13, 2021 08:18:40 AM

It's a little in the "gray" area, because somewhere in the US it was still September 12th, Hawaii for example.

My submission also changed after a few months to a day early like yours. Haven't had my interview yet. I applied approximately 26 hours after my earliest eligibility date, counting from 12:00am of a new date local time.

Im not sure if theres a way for us to predict what is going to happen. Some people have trouble. you could cancel and reapply, but then you'd lose money, but save time. Im not sure if there's a way to withdraw application quickly enough and reapply.

What we have to do with Hawaii???. I applied after midnight in my area, west coast. Either its on time or not. Anyway, its too late now. Worst case scenario they will deny it.

I just refreshed the website, submission date changed 9/13, then again refreshed it changed to 9/12.  I am confused. Its frustrating.

It has nothing to do with Hawaii, you're correct and it should be simple. Im just trying to follow the logic why the date changed. Some people say that the servers located in a different time zone and that creates this mess with the date, that is confusing

anyway, we just have to wait

I know. But still. I am very upset. I just sent through the portal asking them about that. If they said that it was not 9/13. I will withdraw the application, and re send it again.

Keep me posted.

Thanks again.

I’ve got the same issue- my ‘submitted date’ keeps changing. I submitted around 5.30pm EST on 6/26, and so there’s nowhere in the world that would have been 6/25 at that point. But here we are…

Hello,

Thanks for your response. Its good to know that, I am not the only one.

Which does not make any sense. I did send them a letter through the website. Did you send to them, if yes, did they respond or not. If you didn't send one, please do.

Keeps me posted.

I just heard back from them, after asking about the date change. Our system shows that your N-400 application, which was filed approximately September 13, 2021, is pending and is within our current processing time. To determine current processing time within USCIS. What do they mean by "approximately"".. This is very vague answer. Lets wait and see what will happen. Did you send them anything?.

For anyone reading this and planning to file like me I recommend you wait at least 3 days after the calculator tells you to file as to avoid issues like people have experienced on this thread. A couple of extra days to file is way better than to have to refile again.

I just heard back from them - they said something similar to your message- that it was filed approximately June 26 (which was the correct date). So fingers crossed…

The processing time for Charlotte seems to have increased by 5 months since I filed though (previously 7 months, now 12 as the median). Although the estimate in my online account has stayed the same… so confusing!
