  1. Ok so the frustration was short lived - I got approved two days later on Friday, and Oath Ceremony confirmed for June 27th So relieved to almost be at the end of this CRAZY process! Now just need to explain two trips out of the US since the interview, and we're done.
  2. Happy to share that you were absolutely right - mine ended up getting approved on Friday, two days later. Oath scheduled for June 27 - thank you for your advice!
  3. Thank you for your insight. I didn’t push for any further information, to be clear.
  4. As an FYI to anyone following this thread - Charlotte is no longer doing same day oath. My wife and I both had our interviews today; she was approved, I have an N-14 coming. Mrs G was told they’re only doing oath ceremonies every 2-3 weeks and she’ll be scheduled soon.
  5. I had my interview in Charlotte today… the officer couldn’t make a decision, and said I may get an N-14 in the mail or I might not. he had indicated there was too much in my file to make a decision on the spot, but didn’t explain any specifics… he did probe around one of my traffic tickets that was an open container violation (not a DUI) which I brought proof of payment for; also when I first visited the United States he asked what visa I had, which was over 15 years ago (pretty sure it was visa waiver). Is it normal that you’re not given specifics? I’m reading some posts that suggest I should have pushed harder for a real explanation. This is so frustrating!
  6. Just had my interview, got the dreaded ‘cannot make a decision’ outcome. Apparently there was too much material in my application for the officer to work through and so there may be an RFE forthcoming (or there may not). Damn this process is rough sometimes!
  7. Unfortunately the answer seemed to vary by field office location and timing… I have mine on Weds, and I’ve seen plenty of reports of Charlotte processing most people for oath on the same day, however the last couple of Visajourney timelines had oaths on a later date… keeping everything crossed, and I’ll let you know on Weds afternoon!
  8. Finally scheduled for interview - keeping fingers crossed for same day oath in Charlotte (interview is a little late in the day!) Filed N-400 (Online) - June 26, 2021 Old Biometrics applied and I797C mailed - June 26, 2021 Interview Notice - April 29, 2022 Interview Date - June 8, 2022
  9. Hi JRA- you have to find the Ask Emma chat function - and then type ask for agent. I’ve been scheduled for June 8 interview btw- I filed on June 25, 2021. Good luck!
  10. Appreciate that this is a serious case of impatience… 😊 but wondering if anyone knows what this means in terms of approximate timing… local field field office is Charlotte, and we filed on June 26, 2021. Thanks!
