Angelo, Congratulations, the wait is finally over!!!

And guess what, I just received today the notice for my approval too.  Funny that we had the interviews almost the same day back in April 2021 and we were approved on the same day too.

I have been following everyone's progress on this thread too and it has helped me keep my sanity in check.  @Moradesk, you were also a great supporter!

When you go to your oath, you have to complete form N-445.

copy here: DownloadDocument?objectID=64110201

Question 4 relates to your citation. Up to the officer whether they’ll allow you to attend the ceremony.

easy to say this from my ivory tower: I’ve had citations for speeding but from the moment I submitted my N400 I became the most perfect driver in the US. Not worth the risk. Good luck and I hope it works out for you

Lover and hubby to 1, Daddy to 2. I do enjoy growing older but not growing up.

Tears burst out! When we almost abandon the decision, the decision will return to us. That is so magic! Congratulations!😀

2021 was a struggling year, but it was ended. Now we have bright 2022. So happy for you. Congratulations again!❤️😄

Thank you bro. I wish you enjoy your ceremony and 2022.

Plus, I am not sure if is a good thing to share with you, as we are all in LA. After spending a long time waiting for the oath ceremony, I went to a library to apply for my passport book and passport card in December. It only took 2 weeks, and then I received them. Others told me the average is 4-6 weeks, but it only took 2 weeks here. Then, I waited one more week, and received my original document. (others told me it needs to take 2 weeks) This is one thing faster here… Lol…. paid $35 expedited fee.

So, @angelostuart what happened? Are you a US citizen yet?

You have to write the last chapter here, so others can benefit from the information 🙂

Sorry about that

recently I bought a new home busy every day

thank you reminder me, I almost forgot that

keep update:

My citizenship Oath ceremony on Feb 17, 2022

I shown my traffic ticket closed to CIS officer

she uses a blue marker pen made note on my form N445

then starting Oath

then a CIS officer gave me citizenship certificate shortly (approximately 30 mins all done)

but CIS not change my name …

They says now changed rule

I need go to court…..

on Feb 24th I applied US passport used regular service & regular mail

I used Walgreens photo  4X6 size only $0.40 (I strongly recommend )

Their passport photo needs $14.99 plus tax

Costco Photo service closed because COVID-19

Costco passport photo needs  $4.99

USPS staff says need 8-11 weeks

but I think 1 month more a little bit is enough

when I receive that I will keep update!

thank you everyone!

God blessed America!
