For my July / August / Septermber 2021 Filer friends,

As you know from my other posts, I have been watching the activity on burndown towards December (my date range)
AND am very sad to see there are still considerable untouched cases still opening in July/Aug/Sept 2021.
From my count there are still:

July: 90 Untouched Cases down from 95 a week ago

August: 221 Untouched Cases down from 259 a week ago
September: 497 Untouched Cases down from 554 a week ago

Any of you remaining that do not see your case resolved I encourage to watch for the earliest date you can submit for outside normal processing time.

Best of luck and hope your cases get resolved soon

Hi !

thank you for posting these.

I just submitted my RFE. For the approvals for 7000 Range would it be a one under ‘in progress’? Because it would not be under ‘new’ correct?

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) cannot place your case on hold or extend it.

An approved K-1 visa petition is valid for four months. However, a consular officer at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate may revalidate it any number of times for additional four-month periods.

The pandemic continues to severely impact the number of visas U.S. Embassies and Consulates can process. NVC cannot predict when your case will be sent to them for processing. When local conditions and restrictions allow, most have resumed immigrant visa services, including K-1 nonimmigrant visa applications.

All expired K-1 petitions that meet the conditions below will be revalidated by a consular officer once that visa section resumes routine visa operations. No additional action is required on your part.

To revalidate a K-1 petition, the officer must find that:

·           The petitioner and beneficiary are still legally free to marry, and

·           They intend to marry within 90 days after the beneficiary is admitted into the United States

For the most up-to-date information about the operating status of the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, please visit their website at: https://usembassy.gov.

You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General.

Kindest Regards,

I messaged ASKNVC and this is what they sent me last week, what does it mean?

Hi folks, I’m looking for a bit of help! We recently had our application accepted after 509 days, and received our letter confirming acceptance. However, it’s been 52 since that occurred and we have yet to hear anything since. We were told that we were to expect an email from our embassy (Irish) to book an appointment date, but the email that I used when we initially applied (over 550 day’s ago) has expired as it was an email given to me by my alma mater when I studied there which was supposed to be for life but was taken down over Christmas.

I have not been able to find a way to contact my embassy to change my email address and check if it has been accepted. Would anyone know how to do this? Should my fiancée receive an email also even if she is the one living in the states?

All help and advice would be greatly appreciated!

Follow the guide here and send in email address updates for both yourself and your fiancé.

You don't need to contact the embassy, they haven't received your case and don't even know you exist yet. Send the update to the NVC and it will carry over. I sent in an email update and then the NVC sent email updates to both myself and my fiancé's emails, and then once it arrived at the embassy we got updates only from my fiancé (petitioner's email)

No worries so far, only 52 days, you shouldn't have heard anything yet. Most people are hearing from the NVC after about 90 days give or take. (mine was 98 days).

Perfect thank you so much! Do we request a change of email on the Public Inquiry Form in the question box? Doesn’t seem to be anywhere else for us to do this
