Hobbies? Work? Family? 🤷🏽‍♂️

You're lucky with 120 days. It's a year's wait in India just for B-2 interview. My friends parents applied December 2020 and only available slot was November 2021.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

If there is a valid reason to speed things up (financial, medical emergency) you can submit a request for an expedited (emergency) interview. If the request is accepted, be ready to prove there really was an emergency because failing to do so may result in a longer wait than the initial 120 days.

If there is no emergency and the reason you want to shorten the wait is just to go to the US sooner, I'm afraid not. In the grand scheme of things, 120 days is actually very fair compared to other situations you will see on here.

Hi,

I know this is out of topic. In my country there's a 394 days waiting time for appointment. I would like to ask if the visa fee will still be in effect after more than a year? They said its only valid for one year so you must schedule within a year but i'm not sure if the one year limit also extends to the interview date? I couldn't find any information from the site. i just wanted clarification for this. Thank you.

They keep extending it so I wouldn’t worry.  London has already said it will extend to sept 2022 https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/non-immigrant-visa-fees/ and I’m sure other embassies that are having problems scheduling will do the same. Also I believe it’s just until you schedule not the actual interview date
