Hi everyone,

I  have been lurking here for quite a while, it is so nice to hear all these different experiences. I am so happy for couples that got approved, and well...good luck to the rest of us. We will make it.

Let me get straight to my question, and please share your experiences...

We submitted documents on the 2nd of April 2021, Affidavit of Support, DS-260, Civil Documents...
We paid AOS and IV bills on March 19th, and the payment went through on 22nd of March.

On May 8th 2021 we received "Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case", on May 12th we resubmitted what was asked from us.

Today is 15th of June, and yesterday NVC updated that they are processing cases submitted on May 18th. We resubmitted on May 12th, and are confused why we didn't receive a response.

From other people here on Visa Journey we've learned that when you resubmit you don't get an email or any information that they received the new documents, and now with the date passed and no information from them, what should we expect further?

When could we be Documentarily Qualified ??

Thank you everyone!

Because the dates they print are exact.  In addition, every adjudicator is different.  Like the late, great, distinguished VJ member @geowrian once said.... "USCIS and NVC are like a huge grocery store with many lines.  Some are just faster than others"...

"The US immigration process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and a significant amount of money.  It is quite a journey!"

Every step u do with immigration is "hurry up and wait" with very little in the line of updates

The following site is for checking the case status which yours should say "At NVC"

and you can hit the word portal above and check post from other Croatia members and look at any members there and their timelines

read embassy reviews as that gives you a good idea what to expect

luckily,,  you will be IR1 as u married in  2017 and that is a blessing as u will not have to ROC to  get a 10 year green card

They are currently processing cases submitted on May 18th,so they still have to process 10 days before you submitted.

Hopefully you should get a response in a week or so.

We submitted on May 12th and didn't get a response, that's why I opened this topic in hope to find people that went through this or are going through it atm.

I sent them public inquiry and should get an answer in 2 or 3 weeks.

I'm hoping for the best.. Thank you for asking.
