I really hope so :(( do you know how soon it can be? And what happens after approval?

I don't know how soon because there's no telling when, all you can is wait. After approval, it will go to NVC.

Spouse visa will be sent to NVC (2nd stage)

give it at least 2 months to hear from them with your new embassy coded case #

there you will pay the 2 fees and fill out the I 864 with supporting documents and spouse  will do the ds 260

then u wait till embassy needs cases for interviews and yours pops up

there are guidelines above that walk you thru the steps

also USCIS and your embassy have all the information you need for the steps

Pakistan is a very difficult so the best advice for the interview itself will come from others that have written posts and embassy reviews so continue with your timeline as this is very helpful to VJ members and the stats here

Thankyou so much! What if I have already sent the documents with the 1-130 & stuff? Uscis approval means that everything is all set or it’s possible for NVC to ask for more. What are the chances?

alright thankyou!

The i130 USCIS petition is the first step. The i130 is a petition that must be approved before  you can apply for the visa. Once USCIS approves the petition, the NVC will receive it and you'll need to submit and pay for the actual  visa application. The NVC stage is where you submit the form DS-260, the visa application. You also have to submit the affidavit of support form(s), more passport sized photos, a medical exam form, etc. You can see here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/immigrant-visa-for-spouse.html

Or do you mean you submitted all the NVC stuff with the i130? If so, then I don't know the answer.

those documents are needed only for NVC stage after the fees are paid

USCIS did not need these and does not accept the fees for visa application and affadivat of support

Alright thankyou! No probably they want different documents, but I sent pictures, birth certificate passport size pictures stuff like that with 1-130 cause it was an requirement to apply? I’m assuming the NVC documents would be a little different?

Yeah, I am not sure 100%, but since the NVC is dealing with the local embassy, I think they will need the original documents (i130 needs photocopies). The biggest part of the NVC is the DS-260 (the visa application form that the beneficiary) and the affidavit of support (to prove that the sponsor can support the beneficiary financially). If the petitioner/sponsor doesn't earn enough money to support the beneficiary, you will need a joint sponsor who also needs to fill out the required documents.
