Selected entrants are encouraged to complete the online DS-260 application immediately to schedule an interview appointment at the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

The above post means well but can be misleading. Often it is better to wait for DS260s submission especially if the case number is high. There is no reason to rush, as interviews are based on case number and are not first come first served. If you are in the US, you cannot apply for AOS until the case number is current either, and the earliest current date for DV22 is October this year. Please make sure you understand everything thoroughly before you rush to fill out any forms.

Please make sure you carefully go through all the pages (and links from the pages) for DV selectees on the DoS website, starting here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/diversity-visa-program-entry/diversity-visa-if-you-are-selected.html

Also Google britsimonsays, the website has a lot of useful and reliable information on the DV process.
