Hello!

My husband didn't make the minimum income on 2020 because of COVID, he wasn't working, and he didn't received the unemployed money. Also, on the other past 2 years (2018,2019) he didn't make enough because he was studding, or working under the table, so he didn't really put that money on the taxes. So we have 3x times the difference (from the Federal Poverty Guidelines) on our joint bank account, as an asset. This year, he will be making more than the minimum, and we can prove that with pay stubs and letter from work.

My question is... Am I at risk o f being asked for a joint sponsor? Do they will focused on the past income, or the income he will get during this present year?

Thank you for reading and answering!

Then started again in July, so what he reported in taxes was from July to Feb this year, and he didn't received the unemployed money.
