Hello guys...

I hope you all are doing well

I have an urgent question and Im looking for answers asap since you all are experts in this process...

While filling the I-129 F for k1 visa, do we need a beneficiary birth certificate or just the petitioner birth certificate in this very first step??
if we do need it, does they need to mail it to US or they can just email it to the petitioner and she can download and print then add it to the files?? Or the USCIS needs to see the original document in I-129F for (Beneficiary original birth certificate) ???
Thank you soooo much for the help!!

Nowhere in the instructions is the beneficiary's birth certificate mentioned.

A careful read of the instructions indicate that no original documents are required unless SPECIFICALLY  requested

YMMV

So, I researched a lot into it before sending my own package earlier this month. From the general consensus, it is not written anywhere but people add in a colored scanned copy of the beneficiary's birth certificate. I agree with it being the safer route. So, add in a colored copy if you can.
