Is there any place available to book in ermita or manila relatively close to SLEC and USEM to go get medical and get interview done?  My wife has called all over and each place says they only accept quarantine people no outside bookings of any sort. Medical has to be done now 2 weeks before interview and we scheduled for march 9th at Slec and interview is march 26th, we are having problems finding a place for her to stay now for 3 weeks cause of the BS.

The Hilton in Pasay will take you. Before one enters though....an antigen test is administered.

I believe the Sheraton in Pasay also.

I know>>>>>stressful. We just put it all in God's hands and went for it.

I have stayed at Best Western Hotel La Corona and liked it. I am not sure if they only accept quarantine. You can contact them through their website.

This is the result of the murder (or accidental death) on New Years Eve at one of the quarantine hotels that was being used for non-quarantine purposes.  Now all of the hotels are getting more strict.  The best thing to do now is write to the hotel directly and ask.  Dont use that form that some hotel web-sites have, email them.  We are staying at City Garden Suites for 1 night to get our flight the next day and to do our PCR tests.  I wrote to the hotel and they said this was OK.  Agoda also contacted me separately asking for my reason for the booking as it was only for essential purposes.

You can try Airbnb as well but write to the owners.  Some on here have booked at Seaside (SM property) around MOA without issues.  I stayed in an Airbnb few months ago and a PCR test was required whereas some Airbnbs need a minimum of 6 months booking.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

I believe this hotel has been closed during the quarantine period. Looks like just a temporary closure until the country opens up again.

Where did it mentioned that medical now has to be done two weeks before interview time? I just wanted to know if I a missing something, The last time I know is that you can have your medical ahead of time and just come back for the interview by choice. Ty, NG

I can 100% confirm that city garden suites allows people to stay for medical exams. It’s in ermita not far from slec.  I know cause it’s one of the choices on the form I filled out today.
