Thrilling Sunday report, see man:

 

Biweekly Mini-B. visit with Mama T-B., elated senior she man.

Mama T-B. asked for our help in replacing the skis on her Rollator, old ones all beat up man.

Mini-B. did most of this, helpful wee man.

However, skis were inserted backward,  man.

We removed them and started over, egad man.

First ski went on relatively easily, OK man.

Second wouldn't bolt on for any price, probably stripped man.  

After an hour's fruitlessness, Mama T-B. has us unbox a NEW Rollator that she'd had all along,   man.

 

The above set us back by at least an hour, all-day scramble with laundry man.

 

Lunch was toucans of Chef B. mini-ravioli, ingest we man.

 

Din-din for Mini-B. was onecan of S+Ms, ingest wee man.

Din-din for us was Many (2+1) near-decaying bananas sliced into strawberry syrup, ingest we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. came over to watch AFV, season finale man.

Afterward, we threw the infamous plastic ball around, nothing broken man.

It was a great Two Guys week, agree Two Guys man.

Party with the rubias begins when a quorum is present, cavort we man.

Scintillating Monday repartee, yawn man.

Did not leave the casa all day, wild man we man.

Lunch was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

Din-din was onecan of refried (!!?) pinto beans*, ingest somehow we man.

     *bought at a previous ES, financially savvy we man

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. texted to say that Mini-B. has a crush on a chica in his band, awwww man.

We excitedly asked if it was a rubia, real-life test of Two Guys training man.

It is not, no man; however, there is time, si man.  Training to intensify henceforth, major si man.

My mother was diagnosed with lung c last year. Removal was out of the question - it was too big and too close to the spine. For her whole life she avoided any check-ups, didn't want them untill she was forced to and it was too late I think. She has smoked her whole life. Still does it. She's on the second cycle of chemo currently and she's about to start a second cycle of radio as well. But there's not much they can do for her. The tumor is too big, it presses on her spine. And she's too weak. They just try to ease her pain.

It all affects my dad the most. He's an angel. He should be awarded some gold medal for spending his life with my mom. For her whole life she was a PIA. Really. And my dad has his own health issues, but he put them on hold for now, just to focus on my mother.

No matter what people say the old age is a heavy burden.
