Sorry, didn't finish my thoughts about my friend, the pediatrician.  Office is in Houston, but he lives north some distance from work.  He says it is better because when he is not working and is out and about he is not going to see his patients and their families.   I can relate.

 

As for large cities, the largest I have lived in is Louisville KY, which is many, many , many times smaller than Houston.  I lived downtown next to the medical/dental school and next to the projects.  That was ruff.

Awoke semi-motivated to up-clean the casa mentally ill, commit us now man.

Off-cleaned kitchen counter, almost all stuff merely out of place but still exhausting man.

 

Left casa only once, ingest lunch we man.

Used Wendy's coupon on its last day of life, financially savvy we man.

 

Hung 2 pictures and a clock, well-hung we man.

Restocked consumables in 2 bathrooms, invest in our restock man.

 

Took siesta, zzz we man.

Conquered laundry and dished/de-dished the warsher, usual Sunday chores man.

Din-din was onecan of Aldi chili, ingest we man.

 

Had to point out the casa's cleanliness to both Mini-B. and ex-Mrs.-T-B., :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

OMG Starbucks hot chocolate powder they sell at Costco sucks. I never had the stuff in Starbucks store either and now I won't.  I dumped it out. I knew it was going to be gross, just that gut feeling. I dumped it out and made myself some Swiss Miss hot chocolate. Much better. It's my first cup in over a year as chocolate is not carnivore but I wanted some tonight.

Thrilling Monday report, see man:

 

Left casa only on Mini-B. skool runs, to and fro man.

Spent intense phone hours finalizing Pre-Owned Toilet Seat contracts, $i man.

 

Lunch was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

Din-din was 2 Hungry Man "boneless chicken" frozen din-dins, ingest Two Guys man.

 

Movie night was first Season Many episode of The Mandalorian, OK but too short man.

Then saw 2 episodes of The Twilight Zone, enjoy Two Guys man.

Many (2+2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

 

"Cat's Pride" miu-litter is highly superior to "Tidy Cats" miu-litter in miu's electronic box, observe we on behalf of miu man.

 

Wild party with the rubias begins imminently, cavort we man.

 

Must accelerate Tuesday-morn activities to get Uncle T-B. to doc appointment, retrieve senior he man we man.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.
