Apostille for birth certificate?

My K1 visa was approved recently. So I havent applied for AOS but before leaving my country I wanna make sure all the documents I need for AOS are correct. I'm mostly confused about the birth certificate. I have the one the embassy accepted and I thought it ddidnt need anything else but I read some people get an apostille, something like an international apostille or an Hague apostille. Is this something they ask for? is it really necessary? Thank you.

Argentina is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention and any official document destined for this country requires an Apostille from the Secretary of State. Argentina joined the Hague Apostille Convention on February 18, 1988.

The birth certificate is going to be the least of your problems. You don't need to notarize/apostille it. simple copy will do and a certified translation (which can be done by you, as long as you certify as per form 485 instructions)

Check the form i-944 and the documents you will need to get for it (ex: your university/high school transcripts and diploma, bank statements etc)

I'd advise you to carefully read the form instructions on the USCIS's website, unless anything changed since I last read it, you don't need any apostille for anything unless they specifically request you to do so. For the form i-944, when they request degree equivalency the company you will eventually hire to do that will request you the transcripts in a certain way (possibly apostilled idk, you have to check with them), but if you read the instructions of form i-944 they're not requesting anything with apostille.
