I'm bringing my cat in for her physical on Friday but I was snuggling her last night and I felt this ball the size of a munchkin donut right on her belly. Has this ever happened to anyone else's cat? She peed on my bed last week or so which she NEVER does so now I"m thinking the two things are related.

Likely. Possibly, the ball you felt is a tumour.

Yep, my husband's cat had the same thing and the vet said it was a tumor. He passed away in January but it was just from old age, he was almost 15.

Hi,

How old is your kitty?

It could be many things...from a benign adenoma to something a bit more serious. If the kitty is older and it turns out to be something not so good, and surgery isn't an option-PM me. I know of a wonderful man who can give you an alternative consult via e-mail. He does it out of the goodness of his heart and a deep love for all critters.

Right now, I have a ferret who I am treating for adrenal cancer-no chemo-no surgery-no radiation...only pharmaceutical grade herbs. And now, she is doing AMAZING.

She lost all her fur and had a massive tumour on her neck due to the cancer-I have been treating her for only 2 weeks and hair growth has returned. The tumour has shrunk 1mm, Thanks to this man and his WONDERFUL advice.

Good Luck to you and to Kitty. (L)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I dont know how old she is exactly. If I had to guess I'd say 7 years old. Maybe 8. They weren't sure when we got here at the shelter and that was 6 years ago.

Anyone here have pet insurance? Her appt is friday so I'm thinking of getting it now so I'll be covered. I think it's like $75/year and covers an annual visit and about 40% of all surgeries.

So I guess what I would do is call the vet and see if you can afford the surgery. If you can, go take the cat to the vet. If you can't (as in, it would mean death for the cat), then wait for the insurance?
