Vaccination prior to medical

Hey all,

I’m waiting around for the NOA2 for the K1 visa and was wondering if it’s worth going to my GP to get any missing vaccinations now or to just wait and get it at the medical with a panel physician.

Any New Zealand perspectives would be helpful but if anyone could chime in that would be helpful.

In Australia it was cheaper to get them at the GP's instead of the panel physician.

Why not get the done now?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I agree with @Sukie. My husband got his done, for free in Australia, ahead of time. If he waited until the medical, it would have been expensive. Just be sure to take those records to the medical with you, so they can add them to your paperwork.
