That's approximately how long the consulate in Montreal, Canada, has been taking lately from the receipt of the petition to the interview. When we started, I had no idea that part was going to take so long. My fiancee and I had even delayed sending off the petition for two months because we didn't want to get the visa too soon.

I had my petition ready for 2 weeks before sending it because everytime I went to the post office, it was super packed. I am kicking myself now.

By the way, I like your picture in your signature. It reminds me of me and my SO.

I called CSC today to find out where the hell my petiotion was, since its not at NVC yet.

Its lying at CSC in the 'staging area' - which is where its collected in the boxes. They

have no idea when they will send it out, but are waiting for enough of the boxes to be

readied to be sent out.

If you are waiting to hear from NVC and havent heard yet - your papers are in the same

boat ...oh no...i must say.....same box :)

so those of us that have been waiting the longest...are essentially at the bottom of the box.....lovely. I asked the lady at NVC how often they receive petitions from CSC, but she couldn't give me an answer.

Vismaster, I asked yesterday and lady from NVC kindely explained me that it usually takes 2-4 weeks after approval of cases... and I asked why before I have been told 90 days, and she explaned that it happened only few times with some cases, but happened that's why they tell this...
