We have never had an issue to date and sent many of them.

I am sending a Milwuakee M18 Bundle Set of Cordless tools almost taking up the box, and wife is sending a LV purse for her sister, both still in the box it they were shipped to my house in, along with assorted stuff she sends.

I know one day our luck will run out.

Here is a link to the tools bundle from Home Depot, it's a pretty sweet deal and running for Black Friday

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Tool Kit (9-Tool) with (3) 4.0 Ah Batteries, Charger and Tool Bag-2695-29P - The Home Depot

Just checking if you have ever had issues of having a box missing or items removed ?

My (Filipina) fiancée told me that some workers at the facilities are thieves and will sometimes steal the items. Especially during the holidays. She told me before not to send anything expensive or valuable.

Not saying all boxes get stolen out of, just something to be cautious about.

I have been chatting with expats in the Philippines since 2011 and I don't believe I have ever heard of a having an item stolen.  I have heard of boxes going missing for a long time, but always found.

They do x-ray the containers at the port.  Don't ever try to ship any contraband like guns and ammo.  They have almost shut the BB box system down over that in the past.

Milwaukee is outrageous price in Philippines, I guess due to import tax from the US

I am sending 13 items which would only buy two of similiar items in Philippines if they even had the product available

That is a great deal and I am tempted.  I'm going the opposite direction to live in Texas, but not until 2022.  I would need to find some place to store it.

Before I moved here in 2012 I bought a nice Craftsman hammer drill, corded, and have to use a transformer for it.  I used a couple of Bosch hammer drills here that I thought were more powerful than the Craftsman.

You might need a transformer for your chargers.

They run that deal every Black Friday at Home Depot. I got the same set up last year but it didn't have the blower but had an extra carry bar, this years deal is better in my opinion.

Yes I suspect you will need transformer for the chargers, but that's easy to find in Phillippines.

Can not see me wanting to use the blower, there is a guy on YouTube who updates latest deals, I am currently expanding my Packout collection.

This made me laugh.  Import tax from the USA

Milwaukee is owned by TTI a Chinese company

Only some of Milwaukee’s products are made in the USA. According to their website, they also have manufacturing facilities in China and Europe......

However, their most popular products are made overseas for now. Most models of their cordless power drills and circular saw are made in China.

Since Milwaukee is a US based company they have to pay outrageous duty and custom to get the stuff into Philippines.

Look at the Ridgid Wet/Dry Vac with blower at Home Depot, it about $100, same one in Philippines at ACE Hardware is like $400 or 20,000 peso. Ridgid is another US based company.  I am sure the vac is made in China

I suspect most of the tools  in USA that are corded or cordless come from China. And the ones that are made in the USA have basically chinesse parts and are not as good as the old US products. Or that is what the guys who repair my tools tell me.

Why do you think Japanese auto makers have factories in the USA?  To avoid tariffs!!!

Duty is based on country of origin not country of HQ.  BTW, Rigid power tools are also made by TTI under a license agreement.

Why are the Milwaukee tools and Ridgid tools so much higher in Philippines vs USA?

Same thing with Crocs, you ever price them in PHilippines? Stupid high

It might be tariffs, but not because of the company has its HQ in the USA.

Crocs used to be made in Mexico but now they are made by third parties located all over the world

YMMV
