There will be no F3 interviews scheduled until the visa issuance ban for that category has been lifted. That means January 2021 interview at the earliest, assuming the ban is not extended.

Thank you for prompt response. I read president proclamation as below

Sec. 3.  Scope of Suspension and Limitation on Entry. (b)  The suspension and limitation on entry pursuant to section 2 of this proclamation shall not apply to:

(ii)   any alien who is the spouse or child, as defined in section 101(b)(1) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1101(b)(1)), of a United States citizen;

Is the child here means that under the age of 21?

One more clarification needed. When I look at the cases processed I could see some F31 cases were issued visa in different countries in the month of Sep 20, although number is low as compared to before the ban.

May I know whether there are any exceptions to that ban or is there still a way to get you Visa issued?

Yes, there are exceptions such as F3 applicants who happen to be parents of a US citizen minor child.  There are also those considered under National Interest Exceptions.

Thank you. I could understand that some applicants under F31 who happened to be medical professionals may be exempted from the ban.
