  1. We filed WOM after 6 months in AP, but we were out of AP within a month after filing, even before the first court hearing. So it could be due to WOM or not but filing WOM may help.
  2. Our AP process completed in 6 months. Visa got issued one month after that as we needed to go through another medical exam. We are now living in US.
  3. Hi, I have received my visa in Jun 22 and entered US in Jul 22. Admin process took 6 months.
  4. Hi, Our case is under AP since Nov 2021. The case last updated date is getting updated regularly when I check on ceac website. Anyone knows what’s happening and how long it may take.
  5. Hi, Can anyone please shed some light. Let me know if I need to ask question in any other relevant group/thread. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks
  6. Hi, Our F3 case is on AP for around 3 months. Last updated date of our case is updating every Saturday around the same time. We read in some posts that date getting updated is a good sign. Can you please advise what is the significance of weekly updating of the date and whether it is good or not.
  7. If your case is at nvc embassy shall ask you to contact nvc to request the transfer. You need to contact embassies for transfer when the case is already sent to embassy for interview. I saw one person interviewed at Islamabad on 30 Aug and his visa got approved the same day, no AP was required. May I know whether this AP is required when case is transferred to other country, or embassy picks cases randomly to put under AP. Some cases in Islamabad go through AP and some do not. Would this be the same when cases are transferred to other countries?
  8. If I understood correctly this AP process would be same whether I am interviewed at Islamabad or Singapore because of the way Pakistan handles the criminal records. It shouldn’t add up time if I apply from Singapore or reduce it if I apply from Pakistan. If that’s true then let’s say AP takes 3 months and if it is after the interview, I should be able to save the time before the interview call. In general, Singapore embassy processes visit visa in less than 24 hours after interview and you can also get interview call within 2,3 days, whereas it can take weeks or sometimes months in Islamabad.
  9. Thank you Jorgedig. I understand your point of view. Just to share further, I have been living in Singapore for the past 12 years and I have already submitted the necessary documents from Singapore and Pakistan. I am not transferring to a completely new country that is previously not specified in my application. Kindly advise whether it is of any benefit in my case or it still doesn’t make any difference.
  10. I just need to know one realistic possible scenario where it may take more than a year if there is no long queue at the embassy.
  11. Can you please elaborate the worst case scenario if I transfer the case, can it take more than 12 months for getting an IL?
  12. Thanks. My case in Pakistan may take another 12 months. As you said it should still be faster if I transfer. I’ll probably give it a try.
  13. Thank you for your advice. There were only 4 F4 interviews in Singapore in Jun 2021 but there were 50 E1. There are not many F3/4 applications made from Singapore, that’s why it has shorter queue. I am more concerned about processing time to transfer the case. I saw in some other forums/Facebook posts that cases got transferred in one or two months. But some people also saying it can take more time. Hard to make any decision unless there is information from those who actually got their cases transferred recently.
  14. Hi, Is it a good idea to change consular interview location to another country after the case is already DQ? How long it may take? My case is DQ since Oct 2020 but it is still at NVC. I found out from some posts that interviews in Islamabad are scheduled for cases DQ in Nov 2019 so it may take another year to get my IL I am working and living in Singapore for few years and was thinking to transfer my case to Singapore for consular interview. One reason is that I will not need to travel back, second there are almost 0 F3/F4 interviews in Singapore so it will be much faster to get IL. If it takes up to couple of months then it will still be better. Please advise what should I do, request to transfer the case or wait. Thank you in anticipation of your answers.
  15. Hi guys, Please update if you have any news as I need to travel back to Pakistan for interview.
