We filed WOM after 6 months in AP, but we were out of AP within a month after filing, even before the first court hearing. So it could be due to WOM or not but filing WOM may help. -
Our AP process completed in 6 months. Visa got issued one month after that as we needed to go through another medical exam. We are now living in US.

Hi, I have received my visa in Jun 22 and entered US in Jul 22. Admin process took 6 months.
