Today my husband had his interview at the embassy in London. He had his medical exactly two weeks ago at Kingsbridge but it wasn’t sent to the embassy on time for the interview. My husband was given a 221g form that had the medical examination box checked. They took his passport and they told him he will be approved once they get his medical results.  Husband called Kingsbridge and they said that they were sending it out today and it would be at the embassy tomorrow. Has this happened anyone else? I’m hoping it doesn’t take forever to check in to his case again. OH YEAH, another huge thing that has been stressing me out... my husband admitted to taking drugs in the past years and years ago... he took a urine drug test and it came back negative but diluted so they did a blood drug test which was negative too (blood test prob the reason why it took so long) the doctor said he should be fine but I’m worried that they will see this and he won’t even have the chance to explain it since the interview has already been done. It was in his medical records so he had to tell them about it... does anyone have experience with this? I’m going crazy worrying, I can barely sleep and I want it over. I miss my boo!! Lol any advice or input would be greatly appreciated 💖

If they need to discuss the drugs issue they will call him back for another interview.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Thank you! I hope they don’t care about it since it was years ago and he took a drug test and passed. He doesn’t have a criminal record at all either ☹️

How long did it all take to process in the end? I wish I'd waited for a later apt knowing my medical results would be there - I hate being in limbo and STILL not knowing when I can go!

So his interview was on October 15th

Medical was sent on October 16th

Status was showing as refused until 10/26 when it changed to Administrative Processing and then yesterday 10/27 it changed to issued. They sent him the info to track his visa yesterday after it changed to issued and it’s going to arrive today. Yeah hang in there it’s all super stressful took almost 2 weeks after interview for everything to be process since medical wasn’t there.

Congrats!!! So I'm experiencing exactly what your husband went through. My interview was on 4th November and CEAC has shown refused since then. I went to the clinic and they checked and said the results were submitted to the embassy on the 3rd. I've been hoping for a date change to indicate that my case is being processed but nothing so far. Did your date for 'case last updated ' on CEAC change when the embassy received the results and started visa processing? I'm so tensed right now because I'm hoping to move to the US first week in December.  TIA

Yeah!! Our date changed like 2 days after interview once they received the medical then again two days before issued then it changed again to admin processing then issued same day. Date changed like 3 times. You will probably have your visa by next Friday if your wait is like ours.

Don't worry about the "Refused" on the website. If the "Refused" has a content similar to what I have attached, then it is the DOS new system of updating 221g. Once they have your medicals and finish processing your visa it will change to "Issued"...Wish you all the best...

Thanks for the response. I've already received my passport with the visa.
