From reading the forums, the administrative processing takes a bit longer for Pakistani nationals... a lot of background checks also .....

People are trying to clarify what their experience was or the experience of others that they have knowledge. Don't besmirch them for that. Appreciate that they are trying to help you. They are not the enemy.

There is hardly a person that can opine with what, where, when or why an embassy, USCIS or NVC is doing at any given time. We don't see the day-to-day activities of an IO's job. We can only say what we have seen from others or what the current atmosphere is.

Some embassies take longer to process then others. Your experience is not going to be the same as someone else's. Unfortunately, we are all in the same boat and from my experience, your patience if strong and enduring you will get your results. Just years of knowledge from my time on VJ helping others get through their process. One more noted item and that is there are those out there who are still waiting past four hundred days. Be thankful for what you have people here on VJ that are extending a helping hand.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

That's great, I'm waiting since March 24th and not updated. Sent inquiry but no response.

Its all dependant on what consulate you are immigrating from! Hopefully you can hear from them soon

You'll see a couple more "date changes" and then you'll see "ISSUED" which is your ticket on the visa express flight to the USA. Good luck and stay engaged.

To know more specific information for your embassy it would be suggested that you go to the for your sub-forum area/country and there you can have conversation with other people who are interview in Canada. That's the best way to answer,"what's next" and "what is this" etc.

Can you please share your experience about my case status "Application Received" that how much time a case like this processes? Not updated since March 24. Thank you
