Woah! When did Nebraska become the gold standard?!?!  Based on your timeline, you're almost there. Hang in there. The NVC stage will be faster. 

 

Potomac used be were everyone wanted to go. Before I stopped paying attention,  Nebraska was running 12-15months for an I-130.

(Edit 19-24.5 months in an LPR filed)

 

Maybe Potomac is still processing paper applications. IDK.

Response 2: Feb. 18, 2020 - Tokyo Embassy - Requested transfer fm China - Case moved to Administrative Processing 

a Short Time Later after talking with Rep. Case's office, they contacted the embassies again. 

Response 3: Feb. 21, 2020 - Transfer complete; New interview scheduled.

 

Interview Date: Mar. 2, 2020 - Tokyo Embassy

Visa Issued: Mar. 4, 2020, Visa in hand: Mar. 6, 2020

Time: ~359 Days from start to finish 

POE:  Stupid COVID-19 delaying travel to the US....Aug. 13, 2020 - San Francisco 

GC: Aug 5, 2021 (51 weeks from entry)

NOA2 - July 20, 2022 Case Transferred to NBC

NOA4 - Sep 1, 2023 Biometrics Appointment 

Feb 6, 2024 I-751 Approved, GC delivered 10 days later.

California service center jumped from 5-7 months to 11-14 months. I just checked now since it just got updated and it's 12-16 months. I think all service centers are slower with exception of nebraska. Even texas processing time went from 5-7 to 6.5-8.5 months. 

 

This might have something to do with the judge blocking fee hikes by USCIS. I guess they are slowing things down to make people suffer.
