Where did you / will you honeymoon?? The beach is very important to me, so the hotter the better in my eyes (need something by the water to relax..) However, he burns easy and get uncomfortable in the scorching heat and is dying to go back to Europe (I've never been) and would love to go to Paris (he's such the little romantic, gotta love him)!

I think it's a bit cliche but I'm sure it'd be the experience of a lifetime.. He says we can always go to a beach.. be it hawaii, jamaica, punta cana etc, ... you don't always go to paris..

So, just want to know what you guys all did/plan to do/suggest/think/etc =)...

ps. I should have my AP/AOS/EAD by then.. This'll be Aug 2008

If you want both, France would be a good choice. There good beaches in the south of the country, not as tropical, but with good Mediterranean weather. Spend a few days in Paris, and then take a trip down to Cannes. Cannes is also home to one of the largest film festivals each year in May. So depending if you want to catch some celebrities or avoid the crowds you can plan accordingly.

If we weren't on a K1 and had to stay in the US, I would have def gone to Argentina and Brazil. Since we need to stay here I am most likely considering Sedona in Arizona. I have never been out there and they have some beautiful resorts. I may also consider doing a twin center with Hawaii - I love travel and to me this is one of the most important pieces of the whole wedding process.

I'm DYING to go to Thailand...

You won't regret it at all.......stay a few days in Bangkok and see all the site there then head on down to Koh Samui, if you have any time left then head up to Chang Mai. You'll have three different but beautiful perspectives of Thailand. BTW, I am quite biased ;- )

Thailand is my favorites of all countries I have lived in or visited.

Our honeymoon was right after the wedding and since my husband didn't have AP we had to stay within the US. He wanted to see the Smoky Mountains and wound up in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN.

You completely missed the joke, man. The riviera vs a Riviera.

Samui is great. Choen Mon beach on Samui gets tons of honeymooners and is a nice quite, very bueatiful beach. I worked on Samui for a while. :) :) :) If you like diving Koh Tao is much better. Just get a mask and a snorkel and step of the beach and all of a sudden you are in the middle of a National Geographic special. Suai maak maak!
