I am at the NVC. We received the case number a few days ago. Should we go ahead and pay the feed get the medical, nbi, conomar, ect? Or am I better off waiting until things begin to move again?

Also is a copy of the petition required to be broght to the embassy? Or just reccomended to make a copy for my fiance to review?

Thanks everyone!

Medical and CENOMAR expire after 6 months.   Fee payment and nbi expire after one year.  You be the judge but I would wait until case file shows ready

YMMV

I would wait to move forward ..  Visa will be tied to the date of the medical (max 6 months), so waiting isn't a bad thing.

Did you get your MNL # by mail or email?  whichever send a copy to your fiancee as she will need it for the medical.

Not required.  It's only for your fiancee's review if she needs it.

mail or email is best.  Calling is of no value as St. Luke's wants a copy of the NVC letter/email for the medical.

and yes as others have noted, no reason to bring a copy of the petition to the interview (embassy has your original I-129F  ;)  ).   The info in the bio section of the I-129F is good for your fiancee to read and know for the interview
