Do I need to cancel my greencard interview/ how?

I have recently returned home to the UK from the USA. My marriage did not work out and we mutually annulled the marriage on very good terms. My rescheduled greencard interview letter came through the day I left, it is supposed to be in a weeks time. Do I need to contact somebody to inform them or will they already know due to the annulment of the marriage? Obviously sending a letter is not going to be quick enough. I want to still be able to travel to the USA in the future and potentially we may try again down the line once we have figured things out between us.

No. The annulment was about a week before I left and of course I had a lot of stuff going on, so I didn't even think to contact anyone until I got home.

How would they know about the annulment if you never contacted them then lol. I would contact USCIS to cancel the interview.

Well I figured me being on a visa to marry a USC. They would keep tabs on that, otherwise anyone could just stay there and fake the interview etc.

No, your town clerk/lawyer /wherever you filed for annulment/divorce wouldn’t automatically send documents to USCIS with your alien number attached.., there is even a good chance they didn’t know you were a nonresident alien. It is your responsibility to report any changes to USCIS.

Did you really get your marriage annulled because marriage wasn’t working out or was it a divorce. Based on what you wrote, it seems more like a divorce than annulment.

Dissolution, I meant. Don't know why I typed Annulment.
