Looking for Advice on how to make things go smoother further down the road

We are about to submit our I130 and I485 concurrently with the i765 and i131 as well.

Can anybody give us some advice on if we should be doing anything during the waiting to make things go smoother further down the road?

-When should we contact her home country of name change? Does it matter?

-Any relevant tax information?

-social security number?

-getting set up properly in the US?

Really just trying to stay ahead of the game!

Thanks

Would you kindly be able to create your timeline on VJ once you submit your documents? It makes answering questions much easier and you don’t have to constantly repeat yourself.

Make sure you file taxes as married, save “proof” of relationship such as any travel you do together, add spouse to your bills, open or put her on your bank account, obtain health insurance... Can only obtain SSN with EAD or greencard. Most importantly stay patient and realize this process isn’t fast.
