Hello everyone, my husband (who is in Mexico) and I filled out the Affidavit of Support using my salary and submitted all of the documentation in May. We're currently waiting for an appointment but unfortunately the consulate in Ciudad Juarez hasn't fully re-opened yet. We've been considering the idea of me moving to Mexico with him for the time being but we would require a joint sponsor. Does anyone know if it's possible to edit the affidavit of support at this point? Thanks in advance!

After your documents are QDed, you can bring an updated I-864 and joint sponsor I-864 to the interview.

If you do move to Mexico try living in a border town so you can keep an american job.  You can cross every morning into the USA to go to work.  I did it for a year and a half to avoid needing a sponsor.
