Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

Hey guys I know we are at CSC but I like hanging out here with you too so I just wanted to share the great news We got approved on Halloween Found out from the website after it updated today with a touch and saying that we got approved on 10-31 We had no touches and nothing prior to the approval

Hang in there guys I know you have been waiting for so long and it´s coming I know Byron and Mirla are almost there...Byron might already be approved without even knowing it I´m keeping my fingers and everything crossed for all of you guys

To all of you thinking about the holidays: I like to think of it as the last holiday I will spend without my SO. We don't celebrate Christmas because we are Muslim but we had our big holiday (Eid) in October and when my fiance called me he said "This is the last holiday we will have to spend apart. Next year we will be together".

As for the Holiday thoughts, I know , you guys are right, its just that when the time comes and you see everybody happy with their partners I don't think i could stop the empty feeling i would get inside.....My hopes are still there that she might make it...but if not like i said......I'm gone to Colombia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally understand. I really thought Darren would have been here by Christmas. I am going to fly to England instead. If you want to be together and you can afford it, then do it. It will do wonders for you.

It definately will do wonders for me....Like my trip 2 weeks ago to Panama with Leidy did...just sucks that i could be spending the $1200-$1400 for a round trip to Colombia during the holidays on her instead of traveling expenses.....I have spent more this year on traveling then i have ever spent in my life, and i make sure i get away at least once a year...but Colombia 4 times this year and then the trip to Panama....im gonna go BANKRUPT!!!!!!!!!!!

Just called using the RFE trick. They lady who answered just asked how can I help you? So without mentioning anything about the RFE, asked her to please check up on the case, if there has been a problem as it's been a long time.

Initially she just told me the same thing as the website, that it's pending, and that I should check status online, the usual.

Then I asked if it has been assigned to an officer. She checked, and replied: Yes, it has!!! I then asked when, and after a short pause she replied yesterday.

Asked her how long does it take after being assigned and was told it depends and she can't give a timeframe. But that should hear something in 2 to 3 weeks.

Just hope she didn't make up the stuff about it being assigned.

Hope this helps others with getting at least some info from the USCIS, when calling the RFE hotline no need to mention the RFE, and if they give the same bull about checking the site, you might get more info by asking specific questions.

This obviously doesn't work on every call, last time i did the lady was really mean and told me this line is not used for inqueries, so if it doesn't work for you, don't give up, try calling in a day or 2, it all depends on the rep.
