Entry to Russia for spouses of Russian citizens

Hi. I discovered on the site of Russian Border Service that spouses of Russian citizens are allowed to enter Russia. http://ps.fsb.ru/general/info/covid.htm There’s also a phone number 8 (495) 626-77-40 for getting information about this issue but I couldn’t get through. Does someone have a confirmation of this information or maybe some experience?

Seems like it does allow for spouses to come.

Yes but still going to write an inquiry for some official confirmation. This phone number is busy all the time.

Just a small unsuccessful update. I tried to communicate to the US Embassy in Moscow pointing out on this information (it is also present on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs‘ site) and asking them to confirm and update info on the site of Embassy. Silly me. It was like talking to the wall. They even didn’t read my messages and answered with senseless sentences. 🤦‍♀️ Still fuming.

Don't feel like you're the only one -- your words bring back still-vivid memories of the ##### Guayaquil consulate in 2008.  To this day, grrrrrr!

I will remember my experience for all my life as well. Eagerly counting when I'm done to deal with this embassy. Apart from constant political statments instead of visa updates their site, facebook, almost always twitter are absolutely useless for people who need actually to use their service. The only place where I can see all up to date information is ustraveldocs. I thought Russian burocracy is the worst but now I have a new paragon. Ugh.

Well, GYQ sent an outdated packet to Mrs. T-B.-to-be, and it arrived 2 weeks AFTER her first interview.

Ugh, indeed.  I'm one of the few here who was actually relieved to be dealing with USCIS again.

Maybe you'll be another.

Well, the Embassy in Ekaterinburg started accepting the applications for C1/D/F visas. I’m thinking it’s a good sign?
