Hello everyone.

Im a K1 applicant, me and my fiancé wanted to do the follow to join but it only have 6mos to 1 yr limit? (i could be wrong).

Now, no minors nor kids not even seniors are allowed to walk around when the whole philippines are in strict guidelines for covid. We think the "follow to join" would be hard to achieve and delays of the process because of covid what would be the other type of visa we could use for my kids to bring them?

My fiancé and i will going to have 2 weddings, and it would be great my kids see me on my wedding gown.

Thank you.

The vast majority of people bring their children with them when they migrate.

K2 by far the simplest.   Any kind of visa would require an application and visa interview requiring them to walk around.  Any other visa could be delayed and even harder to achieve

YMMV

Not in the Philippines, I would say most leave the children behind.

I know countless girls who have went abroad to work and leave the children for the parents to raise

If they leave their kids behind they have diff reasons i have my reasons too

Im not leaving my kids forever and live in US without them.

I agree most of them leave their kids for work, i guess theres nothing wrong about it. My kids will be in my parents temporarily because no minors allowed anywhere, and hopefully next year they can travel.

I agree. It seems like everything is delayed and needs to wait. Kinda different now, thank you.

My fiancé and i will do the "fòllow".

This is a K1 not a work visa.

K2 Follow to Join is the absolute easiest, there is a 1 year limitation.   The K2 visa must be ISSUED within one year of the K1 being issued, so the processing must be started at about 9-10 months to get the visa issued within 1 year.

The beer virus could mess things all up for completing the K2.     Next option is filing the I-130 for an immigrant visa to bring the children to the states.

The K2 visa application process is identical to what you completed for the K1

Thank you very much @Hank_ and everyone who kindly answer my concern because of covid we immediately changed plans.

Another question:

If we process the K2 after getting my K1, do you think i can travel outside the US to attend my kids interview together with my husband? or my husband to be will only allow to  attend the interview with my kids and travel to America? I want me and my husband to do it.

Thank you.

Depends.  Why not just do all at the same time.  Particularly if you want them to see you in your dress.

YMMV

Iam in the interview stage in my process.

My fiance and family decided that if i arrive in US in cold season we will going to have a 1st court wedding and another wedding when my kids is in the US and when its not cold season for outdoor wedding and so my fiancés family could attend.

Still lots of work but anything for them.

You ALL can interview on the same day.  It is not too late to do that.  Be guided accordingly.

YMMV
