That's what I thought. I am getting thrown off by the page that the "ready" page links to. It is asking for all of these forms and to log in to the CEAC page. However, on the CEAC page, it is asking for an NVC invoice id number, which we do not have on the NVC letter we got. So, I am assuming that we are just waiting on further contact from the embassy? I don't even have a priority date listed.

I would see if someone else can speak more into this and I would look into contacting NVC to double check.  They might be waiting on you to submit and they would be able to shed more light on the situation.

These things are country specific but In my case I did go to CEAC website, I selected IMMIGRANT because I am K1 and I entered the NVC number that I was provided. I had to call and ask for my NVC number and I was able to see my case. When you go to that website , you will select immigrant and enter your NVC number. My NVC number starts with the letters SDO , I think Costa Rica is SNJ. When you enter this into CEAC, it’ll let you know what state your case currently at. Does your case say Ready? If so, then your case is at your embassy and awaiting an interview date. If your case is ready , they will reach out to you and let you know when your interview date will be

Hi! Great to hear you have you interview date! Given present circumstances in India, wondered if you had an update on if this was cancelled and if the embassy is functional? Thanks!

Yup, it was cancelled. Have not been able to reschedule so far...we are preparing ourselves for a few months delay!

So sorry to hear that, it is a difficult situation. :( I hope you guys keep the faith and fingers crossed it all picks up soon enough. I will be relying on Mumbai too - but have a little more time. Please let me know when you have any updates, if possible.

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the online access information from the NVC? We received our I-797 ~1 month ago and haven't heard anything since. I also just want to see how long it would take for our case to be processed at the NVC prior to being sent to the embassy. Thank you!

You need to call NVC and ask them for your case number. Once they give you your case number, you’llbe able to track your case online. If you’ve been approved for a month already then your case should definitely be there already. This is the number (603)334-0888. It’s best to call early in the morning to avoid long wait time
