I-751 Processing Times

Hello everyone!

 

We recently filled our i-751 to remove the conditional status on my husband's green card. Our package was delivered last Wednesday but we still hasn't received our e-notification and even the check hasn't been cashed yet. Is this normal, or should we be concerned that our package may have gotten lost?

The fastest I have ever seen is at least a week between USCIS receipt and getting the extension letter.  If you haven't received it in a month, I would then inquire.

Thanks for your reply. I filled our I-751 on May 29th (delivered on June 3rd), but like I mentioned above, still haven't gotten our receipt or G-1145. Also, the check we sent hasn't been posted either. Should we consider to inquire or wait a little longer?

it can take up to 30 days. Relax

The post office tells you when it was delivered, but until it is taken from the Processing Center Mail Room and scanned into the system, nothing happens with it.  Depending upon the load of mail delivered, it can take a while.  In my experience, the FIRST thing they do with you packet after they open it, is scan it into the system, and deposit your check!

It took sometime, but I finally got a text message from USCIS with my receipt number. I didn't get an email tho.
