read the question literally. Did you sponsor anyone in the past ...there are  no qualifying bits to the question .. either yes or no..

It's did you sponsor anyone in the past that is now a lawful permanent resident.  I've already answered this question for the OP.

If the person is now a US Citizen instead of an LPR, they would NOT count.  That does not apply in this case.  The answer is 2.

Hi everyone

I worked as a self employed/ independent contractor last year and now I did not work since march 6th 2020. what should I put in " current annual income " . I am filing with a joint sponsor though I met 125% criteria but close to the qualifying criteria.

should I get  a job ( gig job, independent contractor, which I can get in few days rather than a w2 job) before uploading i864. or is it ok to file with a joint sponsor because my current annual income is zero currently . can I file with joint sponsor and I have no current job. I have no idea...

any advice ..

thanks
