bringing my daughter

i am filing petition for my 15  and 17yrs old daughters. I have sent my affidavit form to the NVC. Right now I am waiting for them to review my case but couple months ago while I was in the US. I lose my daughter to sickness so I came back to Indonesia. My country of citizenship. For my daughter funeral. I can't leave my 15years old alone here in Indonesia. Is there a way I can bring my daughter with me before the NVC approved my case? Can anybody help me on what I can do to bring my daughter with me back to the US? Thank you

Just dropping in to say so sorry for your loss.  It can't be easy to lose a child and then maybe having to leave another.  I don't have an answer but I pray you'll get some comforting responses.

Send email request to nvcexpedite@state.gov. An email request is specifically the only way to submit the NVC expedite request.

For this purpose, include the following information to NVC as part of your NVC expedite request:

• NVC case numer in the subject line and body of the email.
• “Request for NVC Expedite” in the subject line and body of the email.
• Applicant’s (beneficiaries) full name and date of birth.
• Two telephone numbers in which to contact the beneficiary. Many times, NVC usually asks for these numbers as part of the request process. Save time by providing them as part of the initial request.
• Petitioner’s full name and date of birth.
• Summarize the reasons for the NVC expedite request.
• Provide as attachments any evidence supporting the NVC expedite request.  For example, evidence may include a doctor’s letter or other evidence that supports the reason for the request.

They will likely take a week or two to respond to the request. So it might pay to call NVC and ask them how it’s going which might inspire them to forward it to the embassy for a decision sooner rather than later.. 

 

they may ask who was looking after the children while you were out of the country initially and why that person can’t continue to look after the remaining child so be prepared to answer that question, ok.. but it’s still worth a try..
