Hi guys!

With my interview next week I am just finishing up gathering my documents. I was just wondering if I need to complete a DS-5540 for my K2? They are three.

Yes, just you. We have seen no "official" rule requiring a K-2 to complete DS-5540 Public Charge Questionnaire. Since they have no income earning possibility it wouldn't be a required document for them especially since they are underage and are dependent on the "parents" for their daily needs. That form is difficult enough for a K-1 to complete can't imagine doing it for three K-2's. :D

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

  • Case under review 2 April 2021
  • New Card is Being Produced 25 September 2021
  • 10 Year Green Card Approved and Mailed 27 September 2021 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
