Has anyone tried requesting an expedite as of late? or have experience expediting via Montreal?

 

we are the NVC stage, and we submitted ours on the 27th of April and received and email yesterday saying they will be reviewing it. Wondering how much work is actually being done at the consulate right now, or how long it usually takes..

We filed for NVC expedite as Uscis didn’t send our approved petition to NVC. It was received at NVC after 4.5 months delay and on that basis we requested expedite at Montreal consulate. Unfortunately it got denied. Montreal consulate is tough!
