Responding to my rfe.

Hello. I already knew my rfe was coming when I checked my status online and it mentioned I had an rfe coming. I got the rfe today and I got the notice, what the requested items were, and a return envelope. Do I need to include postage with the envelope? It doesn’t say anything about postage paid or even required so I’m trying to find out. The rfe itself was for one passport size photo of myself which I did include with the petition so I guess the uscis official lost it or something stupid happened. I have already had 2 new photos done of myself so the evidence is ready. The rfe was easy to do so I’m thankful for that but also kind of frustrated because I did include the item. Oh well I have to do what’s necessary. But I’m hoping someone can tell me if I need to include postage or not. I plan on mailing this out before the week is over.

Yes, postage is needed unless the envelope specifically say it is not.

There is a notice if postage is not needed on the front of the envelope. Knowing Uncle Sam, I think he expects you to pay the return postage after all he did his part and provided the envelope.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile.
