According to their timeline, the I-751 was moved to the NBC May 20th, but shortly after they also filed for citizenship so that might have something to do with their quick movement.

😑 sorry to hear that.

How long after they moved your case did they change the status to 'ready for interview'?  And when you received the letter about the transfer what did it say what was the reason for the transfer?

Actually it may be a Good thing, Now my local office may do both i751 and N400 Interview at the same time. My Local Office Processing time is better than other Processing centers.

Hi There!  We filed Aug 2019 and have had a similar experience.  We did biometrics and then received notice our case was being transferred (from Vermont to NBC) in Nov of 2019.  Then, radio silence.  I checked the status today and it says as of March 4th we are "ready to be scheduled for an interview" but have received no paper update.  Any ideas on how long this will take?  Once we do receive a date, about how far in advance will it be?  We are also approaching the time where we could file for naturalization at the same time (September), I'm torn between getting a date to just know when it will happen vs. letting it go so we can just do both at the same time.

Dont Panic and get tensed, people who applied one year before you are waiting. Everything is stand still now. Even if you dont get a i751 Interview date before September, you should go ahead and file for Citizenship.

My understanding is that you do not receive a letter notification when your status changes to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview". Rather the letter will come in the mail once the interview date has been scheduled. Good luck!

Just an update here as well, as of today my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I came on a K-1 and did not have an AOS interview, so I guess everything is going as expected even though I had initial hopes of an approval without an interview.

Let’s see how long we’ll have to wait for an interview appointment.

My status just changed to 'ready for an interview ' at 10pm 🤦‍♀️ after an RFE and transfer from Vermont to NBC

Anyone knows how long is the wait for an interview date and any experience with an I751 interview? We had the AOS one a few years ago.

If you’re actually in NYC, your wait is going to be pretty long I assume. I’m in NY as well, but the Albany field office is responsible for the area I live.

Best of luck to all of us, hopefully we get our interview appointments very soon.

:((( I'm getting an attorney for this one.

Are you EAC*****1159? 😁 I think they have days when they make 1 decision all day long for all cases.

The noa is the notice of action date... the date they received I guess. But damnnn u applied in July... I applied in may.  Well atleast you seeing some movement.  From what I’ve seen though case ready to be scheduled doesn’t necessarily mean that you will be given an interview it might just change and say approved.  Did you have an interview previously with the aos?

Wowww!!! Really there is possibility of that type of status change!?

Yes, I did have an AOS interview.

Maybe it's better to wait longer... than go thru the stress of RFE. I feel like they are in a very bad mood these days. Scheduling a lot of interviews.
