Hello everyone! 
My Fiancé’s petition was approved March 5, approximately how long do I have to wait for the NVC to assign my case number and move forward with the visa process?

Time lines are uncertain at this time with all of the Office closures that are happening. Pre virus it could take 3+ weeks now it is uncertain.  With the consulates and embassy's closed and appointments cancelled  it is going to take a long time for current petitions to to come to the front for consideration.

Currently about 3 weeks from their receiving it... which is usually 2 weeks after petition approval so 5 weeks total..

 

per their page they are creating cases for those received on 5 March
