Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this?

My husband petitioned for myself (spouse) and my 2 daughters (step children)

We have 3 receipt numbers, and we received approval on Friday for our first - which was one of the step children petitions. We are still waiting on approval of the other 2 petitions and just wondered how quickly we could expect these? Do they usually get processed together or is it sometimes a few days apart, or could it be weeks? I’m nervous that we may get the case number for my daughters petition wayyyy ahead of the others getting approved and it will all get separated.

I wouldn't worry.  Even if they get separated early, you can delay the NVC process for the early ones, if needed.....until they all catch up.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

We had exactly the same thing happen with our K1 (although I panicked more than you appear to show lol)

I recall it took about two days. Daughters was approved and mine sat in AP for a couple more business days plus a weekend. Plenty of people here reassured me it was normal and they were right.

Thanks. I am panicking, I’m worried because of things shutting down that the other 2 that haven’t been approved are going to get left behind now. My husband is telling me not to worry, but we got the case number yesterday for the one approved so it’s hard not to worry.

So we’re still waiting and only have 1 of 3 approved.
My husband has called uscis twice, and both times was told that it was strange they’ve not been adjudicated together, and that it wasn’t the spouse approved first. He’s also been told that it could be upto another 7 months before we get an approval for the remaining 2 petitions!!!!! 😭

Does anyone else have experience of a delay between their multiple petitions getting approved at uscis stage?

I know you can slow it down and wait at NVC stage (we have already got the case number for the 1 approved petition too) and I know at interview stage statuses update differently.

I’d like to hear from people that have had multiple petitions in and how they approved those at uscis stage as I’ve only seen people have had to wait a few hours - a few days max.

We also had 3 petitions. One for me and another 2 for my daughters. They approved it in different days. So don’t worry, I think you will get it in few days. But in our situation they approved first mine, than in couple of days my smaller daughter and then in a few days my oldest one. Also after approval they sent our cases to NVC separately 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and we had to wait my smaller daughter case about a week more!!! I really don’t know how and why they work like that. Now we are faced with a situation that got DQ from NVC my oldest daughter only, but for my case they requested one more document. We submitted it. Probably we will wait 2 months for review this document 🤦‍♀️ It’s so hard to wait so long especially when you apart from your beloved one 😢 But we have to be strong 💪 Everything will be good. Wish you the best!

Thank you! We ended up hearing we’ve got an RFE coming on my petition yesterday, missing passport photo (we know it was definitely in there!) and they’re not happy with my Divorce Decree.... which is confusing since they approved my daughters petition and they were happy with it in that application?!? Guess a different uscis is working on the cases and doesn’t know how to read it properly 🤷🏼‍♀️ But at least it’s been looked at I suppose!!

Thank you got replying and reassuring me that it’s not just us that experiences delays with multiple cases. I hope you don’t have to wait the full 2 months to hear back from NVC so you can start to move on with the rest too!
