My case I-129B status changed to “case was relocated from AAO to USCIS originating office” on 7/16/2020. After 50 (on 04/09/2020) days my old reciept ( I-129 ) was reopened and yesterday ( on 09/09/2020) my old case approved. So wait few more days.

December 2019: Appeal filed

I’m new to this page and sorry if this is not the correct platform to ask this question.

Im currently planning on joining my girlfriend in Florida Using my ESTA and staying a few months.

If I were to find a job offer with sponsorship for an H-1B visa and take the appropriate steps in applying for the visa. Can I do this from within the USA or would I have to return to Scotland (my home country) while the visa is processed. Appreciate any help.

Thanks

Ian

The nice thing about the H1b is that there is not much for you to do, you , the Employer well their Lawyer does most of the work.

Visa's are obtained outside the US, a document that allows you to enter the US.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
