Hello Poonam,
Hi after long wait on Dec 11 they reopened my case and then I got RFE still waiting to receive the letter about the RFE.

Hello All. I find this thread really helpful and just hoping i might get some input here :) Im in peculiar situation right now. My H1-b got denied last year and we filed an appeal and an MTR. I remember this because my lawyer has explicitly checked both appeal and MTR options on form I290b. This Jan my I290b status changed to "Appeal is dismissed" but the I-129 status was " Case was sent to AAO for further processing". It was the same until Dec 16 2020 when it suddenly got changed to "Case was relocated from AAO to originating USCIS office" .

I also had an account with egov.uscis and they sent me an email which said my I-129b case status is in initial review!

I am so confused as to why AAO would still work on  my case after the appeal is dismissed? Or the is it the MTR that got dismissed and Appeal was still in progress? Any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)

@Mukichow i am on the same boat my case was remanded but no update it being 153 days since the last update can i know how many days it took for you guys that the status changed @DeerajReddy

Hi Sourabhi, what does your case status say when you call uscis customer care number? Mine says it’s relocated to uscis and I should get a decision within 30 days. Make sure to call after hours because that’s when it’s totally automated with no agents being available to talk. During that time the case status message is different than the one during day time.

@jo9212 MTR's are reviewed by USCIS office which handled your case. So, it could be the reason it is denied.

Your appeal case will get a different receipt number. Check that case to see if appeals office remanded or sustained your case.

Now USCIS office will review your case and notifies you their decision

Thank you for the info !
