Hi,

I recently found out that my UK driving license is no longer valid on Californian roads after moving here. I am an EAD holder waiting for my AOS interview, what will I need to take to the DMV and will I need to take the knowledge test or just the driving test?

Thanks

You will need to take everything. Driving, knowledge, road sign test...

Probably u can get a RealID, but it's validity might be the same to your EAD.

Read the requirements but in general for real id u will need two different bill/bank statement with your name on it with the address where u reside. You can find everything on the DMV website

Phone up and book an appointment pronto. I've been waiting three weeks so far for my own driving test. March 10th, some 35 miles away from where I live.

My impression is that CA DMV is overloaded.
