Hello,

I am so confused here.. I have two type of wedding. One was religious ceremony and other was done in court(legal). Religious wedding was done in 2015 where almost 200 people attended and was very big celebration.  Legal wedding was done in 2017 where only 2 people came to our witness. In DS 260 form I kept  legal wedding date.  If ask in interview about Wedding at US consulate which one should I explain? I really don't want to make it confuse at interview. Please explain how should I reply? Thank you in advance.

People seem to think a bigger and more elaborate celebration is somehow important to USCIS.  It’s not at all.  The date of the legal marriage is all they care about.

USCIS doesn't issue visas.  The OP is asking about which "wedding" to describe to a Consular Officer during the interview.  The answer is "both".

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

You are right.  I shouldn’t answer without appropriate caffeination  at 6 AM.  The question got me thinking of filers concentrating on the wedding ceremony as the thrust of their case.
